I am betrothed and we are preparing for bridal. When I was introduced to my future father- and mother-in-law, I was surprised by their wintry treatment of me. I was surprised, because they have already given their consent for our marriage. I did not want to be undesired that’s why I talked with my fiance many times but he did not explain me to what their wintry treatment is due to. Actually all his relatives treatment to me was somehow strange – neither good, nor bad. My parents wondered what I would do among them, because my future husband really thinks highly of his relatives and the whole family gathered every weekend in their native village.

They treat each other very heartily and friendly, but with me – as if I did not exist. I have normal interrelation with my boyfriend while we are in the city, where we live and work, but when we are to the village, everything changes. Weekend changed into a great suffering for me. I started to hesitate whether the marriage is not a mistake. The oppressive treatments tired me and made me think that there is something wrong in this family. As if, my instinct gave me a sign that I had to make out. The most important event in my life awaited me – contract a marriage and life with a person on which I must to have a complete confidence. But I couldn’t know him when he was between his relatives.

My mother did not lose her time and took up to know more information about her future relation by marriage. The reports were good; people knew them as normal and decent family. They have some res about their two daughters and both sons-in-law. They were more selfish and greedy. My mother began to suspect that I am not welcomed exactly by them. But she couldn`t explain herself why my boyfriend`s parents have so strange behavior. The idea for magic right off came across her mind. She didn`t hesitate to contact a fortune-teller. A friend recommended the famous prophet Magda, who confirmed her doubts. She revealed the material evidence for the magic is in the village.

It was necessary for a while to perform all the ritual acts for neutralizing the magic. The common efforts gave a result after a month – my boyfriend and his parents are like awakened sleep-walkers. They are ever so happy that I`m here. My future sisters-in-law became more humane. I`ll be a bride thanks to the concern of my mother and the prophetess Magda.
